kovacevic(16.09.2014) I am happy to welcome the World champion IGM Marjan Kovacevich in the KoBulChess Originals column! We can see in his nice twomover change of mates, Zagoruiko, thematic tries by the key piece, creation and play of white batteries and black refutations becomes defences.

The three black defences are refutations to the three tries showing the Cyclic refutation theme (with changed mates). Especially nice is the different mates for 1...Sb5 after 1.Qe7? and 1.Qe6!.
