Seetharaman Kalyan (or Ram for short) was born on 18.03.1949. He composing in almost all genres and had won many prizes. Ram is a creator of the fairy condition Superguards. In few days I will publish his biography and selected compositions, but for now our readers can enjoy with two of his problems:

About the comment #9 (which I finally posted after some difficulties ;-) ), Shankar Ram explained:
"It says: "manamarnda vazthukkal"
That means "heartfelt wishes" in Tamil -- my and Seetharaman's native language..!"

It was a lucky find developed from a helpmate problem of the great Yuri Gordian. In the helpmate format the theme was almost invisible.
