No50 is very nice! As it is there are two white moves and three black moves. Perhaps adding another interesting white move will make it a nice H#3.

In No.51 the IM of India shows a perfect match between solutions: Unpins, selfunpin by paralysis and typical Madrasi double check mates ! Very nice problem. Perfect white economy !

No.55. I dont see the point of the second solution. Personally I would prefer related solutions. Can someone explain the merits of ANI problems ?

ANI means ANti Identical, i.e. both solutions (variations) have different strategic ideas or elements. For example - in last years IGM Petko Petkov present so many times this kind of problems including in his own problems and articles (if I remember correct one his article for ANI problems was published in The Ural Problemist 1-2 years ago)

"ANI means ANti Identical"

@Diyan: My personal view is that the name UNI - is more appropriate. ie. UNInteresting !!

:) Ram, actually I also do not compose ANI type problems and personally I do not like them, but this is subjective point of view. Some composers like them a lot. Actually they are more paradoxical for the solvers and we can found problems of this kind in many solving competitions.
On the other side - I very like TF problems, where the AntiIdentical elements are doubled and presented in pairs of thematic connected variations (2x2, 2x3, 3x3 etc.) This looks more complete and interesting.
