Another great longer helpmate from Viktoras!
I especially like 1.Rc1!
It is a little pity that there is no Excelsior

There are composers who think that the greater length makes the greater content, no matter how boring, banal and unoriginal the play is.

The long helpmates by Viktoras feature so thrilling play of the present pieces that the length is actually the shortest way to exhibit the richness and beauty of the content.

1.Rc1 is certainly an amazing critical move over c2.
But it is only an introduction for the play of wB and bS, with selfpins and unpins which enable the 7-moves march of wK.

The underlying strategy and precision make that march very exciting.
bK and even the static bRd7 also participate in the strategy that governs the march.

I don't see what might be an additional value of Excelsior if nothing would be added to the strategy.

Anyway, a masterpiece as a farewell to 2014 and as a welcome to 2015.

Yes, 12 moves = 12 months :-)
