Problem 405: Pierre Tritten - Fairy (Take & Make)

tritten(12.06.2014) Very nice fairy original by Pierre Tritten with the author's favourite condition Take & Make.

1.Bb8 Bxh3-g3+ 2.Kxg3-c7 Sxa1-a8#

1.Rb3 Rxh2-g3 2.Kxg3-c3 Sxa1-b1#

- Moves by black officers and black King along the same line

- Interchange of function between WR/WB (sacrifice on g3 after capture / passive anticipatory guard)

Take & Make: Every capture ("take") must be complemented by a further step ("make":not a capture) by the capturing piece, using the movement of the captured unit, otherwise the capture is illegal. Pawns may not end up on their own first rank. Captures on the promotion rank lead to promotions only if the pawn is still on the promotion rank after the "make" part of the move. Promotions at the end of the "make" element are normal.

Well, Ram - the problem is really excellent and very nice, but the King Bristol is not new. For example look this my problem with similar Bristol effects and change of functions between the black pieces:

Dear Diyan.. Your problem is also beautiful and shows the same King Bristol with much better white economy. The white queen sacrifice should be surprising for solvers. Kudos!
