(20.09.2013) Today with my wife Snejina we celebrating our 5 years marriage anniversary. This is a good moment to present on the site the fairy condition which I have invented in 2010 and named to her - the "SneK Chess". ("Sne" from hers first name Snejina and "K" from hers family name "Kostadinova"). It has been presented in my lecture during the WCCC in Crete 2010.

SneK Chess: 

The pieces are in following order – (Pawn)>King>Knight>Bishop>Rook>Queen.

If some piece is captured, the other one of the same color which is below it in the rank, transforms into a piece of the same kind as the captured one.

In case of option – the capturing side choose which piece will be transformed.

When a Pawn is captured – the Royal Piece of the same color (if exists) becoming a normal King.

 Here is the pattern:

When a Queen is captured - a Rook (or Royal Rook) of the same color (if exists on the board) becoming Queen.

When a Rook is captured – a Bishop (or Royal Bishop) of the same color (if exists on the board) becoming Rook.

When a Bishop is captured - a Knight (or Royal Knight) of the same color (if exists on the board) becoming Bishop.

When a Knight is captured – the King of the same color becoming a Royal Knight.

When a Pawn is captured – the Royal Piece of the same color (if exists) becoming a normal King.

On the scheme:

-White Bishop can not capture the bSf5 because of selfcheck by the transformed black King into a Royal Knight – 1.Bxf5(bK=rS)??

-The following Help-mates in 1 move are possible:

1.Sxg3(wBb1=R) Rb8# and 1.Se7 Kxe7(bK=rS)#

-If we add a white Knight on c7 the following stalemate variation will be possible:

1.Ba2 Sd6 2.Kxd6(bK=rS) g6 3.Rxg6(rSf8=K)=

Solution of the example:

a) 1.Bc3! f8Q 2.Rhxf8(wR=Q) Qxc3(bS=B)#

b) 1.Rfh1! c8Q 2.Rxc8(wR=Q) Qxh1(bBe=R)#
