prentosthemis(26.11.2013) Very nice join problem with cyclic triple Grimshaw and the fairy condition Superguards by Themis Argirakopoulos and Kostas Prentos.

Cyclic Grimshaw, bQ sacrifices, mate is given by all white pieces, Meredith (Authors)

Superguards: Any piece (including Kings and pawns), which is observed by another piece of the same colour cannot be captured. Pinned pieces also observe.

And the mating white piece prevents the black piece on f2 to parry the check by observing bK, so 3 lines are closed in each phase. Impressive Meredith.

Beautiful triple grimshaw! Four protectors to the black king eliminated in two moves! One of the pioneer examples of Superguards condition using fairy pieces. Great advertisement for the new fairy condition. Thanks Themis and Kostas.
