60th World Congress of Chess Composition (WCCC) - Highlights and decisions
WCCC2017(10.09.2017) Here you can see the highlights and some of the decisions from the WCCC 2017 Dresden, Germany. 30 member countries were present, unfortunately without bulgarians this year. But the participation in the tourneys during the congress of the IGM Petko Petkov was great. He won a lot of prizes including wins of both sections of the Tzuika tourney which problems you can see here:

pap1zuika

Perfect realisation of the tourney theme (which was HS# with minimum of 4 consecutive cross-checks during the solution) - creation of black batteries, white Royal battery play and 5 thematic checks on each solution in excellent construction Meredith!

pap2zuika

Very rich thematic complex with annihilations, creation of black antibatteries and excellent play by the white Chameleon (which fairy piece is invention by the bulgarian grandmaster) and 6 thematic checks on each solution!

Very soon we will publish a selection of Petkov's recently awarded compositions!

It's interesting that Petkov told me that by his opinion his best problem in this tourney was that one which was awarded with 1st HM.
