I too failed to spot this. It will be an achievement if Ravishankar can correct it. One possibility is to have regular pawn a7 and have 1.a8R+ as solution.
Yes. I could not find anything better than 1.a8=R+ either. Paul
Raican's dual proves one thing. The under-promotion cannot take place
on b8. It can occur only on a8.
So the corrected version is
1R6/P(p2)6/8/8/8/2K5/k7/8 - #7 b7: Berolina Pawn 1. a8=R+
Another possibility is
8,8,R6,(P2)(p2)6,8,2K5,8, k7 - #5 a5,b5: Berolina Pawns 1. ab6+
But this reduces the effect considerably.
