I think the true improvement of this problem is to remove 2 half-moves since it is, obviously, an artificially prolonged h#2

In each phase, after the first move of black, white has a choice right route horse. so that by removing the floor is not necessarily progress.

The theme shown is ASP. I think what Vitaly means is that Anticipatory Selfpin has been shown successfully in h#2 itself.

Whether the addition of black selfblock and choice of W1/W2 moves improves the mechanism is not an easy question to answer !

True. The composer could have used the opportunity to work on this problem again to introduce a better strategy for white.
